- Learn without leaving your office.
Most of our private-lesson students are busy professionals with
unpredictable schedules. Kisako's private lessons make it easy
for you to learn Japanese because our teachers come to your office
(or any other place you designate) to give you a lesson in the
setting you choose. You don't waste any time traveling to some
school half-way across town, and you don't have to worry about
getting to class on time! Private lessons can be held at any time
between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m., Monday to Saturday. Most Kisako students
prefer to study in a one-on-one environment, but any number of
students up to six per class is acceptable (groups larger than
that make proper oral exercises impossible). Most of our students
prefer lessons of from sixty to ninety minutes in length, but
any reasonable length is acceptable.
No commitment, no obligation.
Other schools may ask you to pay an up-front fee for a full term's
worth of courses, or to buy a certain number of "tickets" which
you can then exchange for lessons (and which expire after a limited
time). With Kisako, you can start and stop your study whenever
you like, with no long-term commitment. And whether you study
with us for just one week or for three years, you will never be
asked to pay in advance for private lessons which you may never
take.
Blow us off. Go ahead.
Maybe it's an emergency meeting of the board of directors. Or
last-minute contract negotiations. Or a crisis at one of your
distribution centers. There are always a dozen things demanding
your attention, and you never really know what your schedule will
be like tomorrow, let alone next week.
Other schools insist that you be in your seat at the same time
every week, or that you make up missed lessons within the month.
They even make you pay in advance, so that if some big project
suddenly swallows your schedule for the rest of the quarter, all
that money is wasted.
At Kisako, you can cancel on us at any time, no questions asked.
If you cancel your private lesson at least twenty-four hours in
advance of the lesson, then there will be no charge whatsoever.
And if you cancel a private lesson less than twenty-four hours
in advance, then as long as you reschedule the cancelled lesson
for another time -- any time at all when the teacher is available
-- then you will not be charged.
Bring Your Questions To Us Anytime
Sometimes, no matter how hard you study, something still just
doesn't make sense. When that happens, you can call or e-mail Kisako for special assistance. We answer free of charge, and at any
time, all questions about grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary,
Japanese culture, and similar subjects which our students may
have.
